What is RMM for 3CX?

RMM — remote monitoring and management — is how MSPs watch and run their customers' systems from one place. RMM for 3CX is that idea, built specifically for 3CX phone systems.

A generic RMM watches servers and workstations: is it up, how's the CPU, is the disk full. Useful — but it has no idea what a PBX is. It can't tell you a SIP trunk just deregistered, that call quality has fallen off a cliff, that a customer is one call away from their license ceiling, or that last night's backup wouldn't actually restore.

RMM for 3CX speaks the phone system. It understands trunks, call quality, queues and ring groups, recording storage, license headroom and 3CX's own backup format — so the monitoring, the automation and the backup verification are all tuned to the things that take a 3CX down. 3CX itself doesn't ship one: the Partner Portal is an inventory, not a monitor.
