I can't sign in

Sign-in is failing — what to try.

Quick checklist

  1. Email + password correct? Try the password manager if you have one.
  2. Account exists? If you just signed up, check your inbox for the verification email — clicking the link is required to enable polling but not required to sign in (verification gates polling, not access).
  3. CAPS LOCK off.

"Invalid email or password"

That's the literal response from NextAuth. Three causes:

  • Wrong password — try the Forgot password? link.
  • Wrong email — check whether you signed up with a personal or work address. Email is case-insensitive, so case isn't the issue.
  • Account doesn't exist — sign up first.

"This account has been suspended"

A super-admin or the system suspended the tenant. Likely causes:

  • Payment failed for 21+ days — update card in the billing portal.
  • Manual suspension — we suspended due to a policy issue. Email help@sikurd.com.

"Verification required"

Your email isn't verified yet. Check your inbox for the verification link. If you can't find it:

  1. Sign-in page → Resend verification email.
  2. Check spam.
  3. Make sure your email provider isn't rejecting sikurd.com mail.

If still nothing, email help@sikurd.com — we can manually verify.

I'm an owner and locked out

If Forgot password? fails (e.g. you no longer have access to the sign-up email), email help@sikurd.com. A super-admin can reset the password directly. You'll receive an email notification of the reset with who performed it.

Microsoft 365 SSO fails

If your tenant uses SSO and the Microsoft sign-in returns an error, likely causes:

  • App not granted admin consent on the M365 tenant side.
  • Your M365 account isn't in the allowlist Sikurd has for your tenant.
  • First-time setup — the M365 admin needs to approve the Sikurd app in Azure AD.

Email help@sikurd.com — SSO setup is a joint operation between us and your M365 admin.

I see the dashboard but everything's empty

Sign-in succeeded but you're on a tenant with no instances. Either:

  • You just signed up — go connect your first instance.
  • You're a Member with instance access restricted and no instances granted. Ask your tenant Owner.
