The Chrome extension isn't auto-filling

Install confirmed but the 3CX login still asks for a password.

Quick checks

  1. Signed into Sikurd in this Chrome profile? The extension reads your session from sikurd.com — sign in if you haven't.
  2. The FQDN is an onboarded instance? Open Sikurd → Instances — confirm the exact FQDN is in your list.
  3. The instance has credentials saved? Some instances are added without credentials (e.g. CSV import without bulk-connect). Open the instance → if the Reauth button is highlighted, save creds first.

Common causes

"Sikurd Forbidden" in the extension popup

Your user can't access this instance. Either:

  • You're a Member with instance access restricted and this instance isn't granted.
  • You're signed into a different Sikurd tenant than the one that owns this FQDN.

Sign in with the right account, or ask the Owner to grant access.

Login form fields aren't filling

The 3CX login form is customised on the PBX side, and the field selectors moved. The extension matches the default 3CX login form; heavy customisations can break field detection.

Workaround: click Open Console in Sikurd (auto-copies password to clipboard if available) and paste manually. Email help@sikurd.com so we can adapt the extension for that 3CX skin.

Extension installed but icon greyed out

Right-click the icon → Manage extension → confirm:

  • Site access: matches your onboarded FQDNs.
  • Permissions: granted.

If the extension is disabled there, toggle on.

Multiple Sikurd accounts in one browser

Chrome profile shares cookies across all sites. If you're signed in to a different Sikurd tenant than the one that owns the FQDN, the extension will use the wrong session.

Fix: Chrome profiles → one per tenant.

Browser other than Chrome

The extension works on any Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc). For Firefox, the extension isn't published yet (roadmap).

Manual login still works

The extension is a convenience — without it, Open Console opens the 3CX login page and you type the password yourself (or copy from the clipboard if Sikurd offered it).

Reinstalling

If the extension is acting up:

  1. Right-click the icon → Remove from Chrome.
  2. Reinstall from Chrome Web Store: Sikurd 3CX Autofill.
  3. Sign in to Sikurd again if prompted.
